Hello Ladies (and maybe gents) –

I am extremely excited that I am typing these words right now in my first blog post. I never thought this would be something that I would ever do but after spending 12 weeks on maternity leave with my 2nd babes – I realized that I want to bring a voice to working mommas everyone. If your not a working momma don’t worry I am sure there will be plenty of content that will resonate with you. Hell if you just fall in the women category or even the man category still trying to figure out the women in your life category there will be plenty of content for you!

Here comes the part where I go into agonizing detail about myself but I promise that I will keep it brief – you know just the high level shit. So here is the shortest version I can come up with:

My name is Chloe Ryan – why is it that we always start out this way of course you know my name you are reading my blog! I am a 27 going to be 28 year old working momma who has decided to share her life hacks with you crazy kids. I grew up in a small town in Michigan where I met my middle school sweetheart (yes the cute man in the photo above) at the ripe old age of 13. Yes…..you heard me right I started dating my husband in middle school when I still didn’t even understand what dating truly meant – like do we hold hands and pass love notes…….what is this crazy thing! Now I know what most of you are thinking this girl is painting the perfect picture. She met her husband in middle school, went to college, got married, found an amazing job, and then had two beautiful babies. Well you would be right – that is my story and although it sounds perfect it certainly is not. If it truly was that perfect – how could I possibly think about starting a blog named “Confessions of Working Momma’ – clearly I have some things to share.

See that was not so bad —– I kept it to the high level shit but hopefully I have given you the information you need to keep reading and wanting to know more….like what the hell is this blog even about? Well, I am glad you asked because I am going to tell you right now. My goal is provide you with all the in’s and out’s of what it means to be a working momma. Like how I juggle a high level career and still make time for my kids, what I have to do to keep the romance alive with my husband, who by the way I just celebrated 15 years with, and most importantly how I am learning (keyword) to love myself along the way.

Now, I truly hope that I can provide you with some comedy along the way – like how I literally just got pooped on by my 2 month old little girl who has more attitude than her momma already. (I am in trouble) but, I also plan on including some of my favorite products and fun how too’s!
